The latest pictures of the Academy's new computer laboratory sponsored by Zain show that despite difficullt weather conditions in recent months the laboratory will open as scheduled in September. Work will then start on a new Science Laboratory which is to be funded from private donations. ... MORE

Our Vision
Malek Academy is a non-profit making private institution and will cater equally for boys and girls.

The Academy will provide an opportunity for 400 x 13-17 year old resident boys and girls from the whole of South Sudan to benefit from a high standard of education.

It will respect and support the faith traditions of all pupils who attend the Academy but will not tolerate political or religious indoctrination of any kind. It will be a unique and inspirational school.

It will seek to provide the very best academic education in Jonglei State for pupils from all backgrounds in South Sudan.

Its success will be based on respect for its pupils and an unshakeable commitment to meeting their academic, moral, cultural, social, emotional and physical needs.

It will be seen locally, nationally and internationally as an outstanding school with the highest aspirations for its pupils and exemplary standards of teaching, learning, pastoral care, leadership and organisation.

By transforming the lives of its pupils it will seek also to bring about transformation in the wider community.
