The Malek Academy Vision
Malek Academy will be a unique and inspirational school. It will seek to provide the very best academic education for pupils from all backgrounds in the Jonglei State of South Sudan. Its success will be based on respect for its pupils and an unshakable commitment to meeting their academic, moral, cultural, social, emotional and physical needs. It will be seen locally, nationally and internationally as an outstanding school with the highest aspirations for its pupils and exemplary standards of teaching, learning, pastoral care, leadership and organisation. By transforming the lives of its pupils, it will seek also to bring about transformation in the wider community.
Malek Academy will cater equally for boys and girls. It will respect and support the faith traditions of all pupils who attend the school but will not tolerate political or religious indoctrination of any kind.
Malek Academy will draw on the skills, resources and commitment of local people, including those who will themselves be beneficiaries of an education at the Academy, and of people working nationally and internationally to support the Malek Academy Vision.
